new alternative space in NoMa: call for curatorial submissions
Artists Unite is accepting applications for curated exhibitions of small groups for its 2007-2008 series in its new space that is currently under development in Northern Manhattan. For purposes of the proposal, consider that the space is 15′ x 20′. Final size to be determined.
Proposals selected will be given the opportunity to exhibit for approximately four weeks. They will also receive announcement postcards, press materials, a short catalog, and a small curatorial honorarium. While there are no geographical eligibility requirements, this opportunity is most appropriate for artists who live within commuting distance to Washington Heights, because artists are required to install their own exhibition and to gallery-sit during some hours.
Proposals accepted only via standard US mail. We do not accept FedEx or special or deliveries. NO DELIVERIES IN PERSON. . First exhibition is scheduled for Fall 2008.
