HOW TO PARTICIPATE
Submitting
Art
Artists are invited to join Virtual:Comunidad.
You are encouraged to participate as often as you like. (Please
see disclaimer below)
To participate, create a piece of art Friday at 11:00 U.S. Eastern time, a.k.a. 16:00 GMT suitable for posting on the web site. (If you are unavailable at that time, make a piece THIS WEEK--do not submit work from your own collection of past work). The DEADLINE each week is Friday midnight to be in the following Monday's exhibit. Email the following to websubmission@artistsunite-ny.org:

Digital image of the work, 400 pixels wide in JPG format (sorry, we do not have the resources to accept work in other forms).
- Statement of no more than a short paragraph answering the question, "What is the most important thing on my mind right now?" (The curator reserves the right to shorten work that exceeds 100 words).
- Name of your piece of art (work without names will be listed as "untitled").
- Date the work was created (it must be created during the week of the exhibit to preserve the spirit of the global community coming together for this project).
- Your name and what neighborhood/city you live or work in.
- A brief, one- or two-paragraph bio for inclusion in the "About the artists" section. (The first time you submit only)
DISCLAIMER
Virtual:Comunidad is a curated exhibition. The Project
Director will determine what work is exhibited on the site based on his
artistic judgement. Submission of work is not a guarantee
that it will be exhibited on the web site.
Artists Unite takes no responsibility for work submitted beyond posting it with the information received from artists. Artists exhibit at their own risk. (Copyright notice appears on the exhibition pages.)
