Aniqatia
Aniqatia (an-uh-kay-dee-uh) was formed in the Spring of 2013 by two pairs of long-time Lehigh Valley musicians with the goal to create a distinctive sound that merged all of their varying influences. Locking the band into a specific genre is a difficult task, but Aniqatia combines post-rock, alternative, indie, and emo elements into their songs, leading to an experimental sound that is both refreshing and nostalgic at the same time. The quartet spent the better part of a year writing their debut EP, titled “Erratics,” and recorded the effort in the outskirts of Philadelphia with renowned engineer Vince Ratti (Circa Survive, Balance & Composure, The Wonder Years).
