Ben Seretan
Ben Seretan grew up in California, went to Wesleyan University in Connecticut, and now lives in Brooklyn. He plays the electric guitar, sings, and makes drones, or what he calls "long music." If Heaven exists, Ben wants to find it with delay pedals and join the chorus of angels. Repetition, loud stabs of waterfall electric guitar, sweet gospel melodies, and big warm swells of sound joined by frequent Jonathan Richman covers Ben – who has played and continues to play in a wide array of bands – started performing solo in earnest in the spring of 2011. Since then, he has released three full-length solo recordings (New Music, New Space, New Song – a series) and a collaborative LP with Portland instrumental masters the Early (LPs available here).
