Musical demonstrations of a 21st century transition from (MONO)CHROMATIC music systems ('black and white' pitch scale gradations with absolute, linear intervallic relationships), to a POLYCHROMATIC system ('pitch color' scale gradations with relative, nonlinear intervallic relationships).Polychromatic, microtonal compositions are presented at an auditory resolution of 106 pitches per octave, to engage the musical imagination.
