Consisting of Oakland enthusiasts Amy Friebertshauser (Vocals, electronics, percussion) Mike Guarino (Drums, percussion, electronics, string instruments) and Derek Monypeny on guitar, Oaxacan make sparse, percussive space music with a few rock instruments with a healthy portioning of free-ittude. One of their free-bangers was recently included on Last Visible Dog's Crows of the World Vol. 1;a veritable who's who of the current drone/psych/cassette/cdr underground.
