Photophob
Photophob is an Austrian one man music project by me, Herwig Holzmann, located somewhere between Ambient, Broken beats, Electronica and IDM (“Intelligent Dance Music“), which is funny, because my music is neither very intelligent, nor dancable. I don’t want to make you dance, I want to make you dream. For me, an album is not just a collection of 10 to 20 tracks i made in a certain period of time. It’s not meant as proof of what I am or am not able to do. I don’t care if you think I am a genius or a dilletant. My interest in music starts at the point where you forget to think about the musician, the equipment, the prowess or dilletantism of the people involved.
